Punjab rout Saurashtra to lead table

Punjab thrashed Saurashtra by eight wickets at Mohali to notch up six points from the match. This is their third outright victory in four matches and they're at the top of the heap in the Group A Points Table with 23 points. Resuming from their overnight total of 212 for 7, Saurashtra were bowled out for 233 in their second which left Punjab a target of 119 runs. Karan Goel struck an unbeaten 75 as Punjab attained the target in 33.1 overs at the loss of two wickets.

In Hyderabad, the hosts look set to gain the first innings lead against Mumbai. Akshath Reddy and Hanuma Vihari made 196 and 191 respectively as Hyderabad reached 423 for 3 at stumps on day three, just 20 runs behind Mumbai's first innings score of 443. Reddy and Vihari added 386 runs for the second wicket.

In other matches, Railways is likely to gain an outright victory against Gujarat, while Hyderabad is set to upstage Mumbai.

In Bhubaneswar, Gujarat batted well in their second innings against Railways but defeat is still looming large. Gujarat reached 288 for 6 at the close of day three and they've a slender lead of 97. Railways made 308 in their first innings after dismissing Gujarat for 117.

In Indore, Madhya Pradesh (MP) is in strong position after taking first innings lead against Bengal. After resuming from 200 for 6, Bengal was bowled out for 299 on day three, conceding a 43-run lead to MP. In their second innings, MP have racked up 135 for 3 in their second innings. They've a lead of 178 runs.
