Bangalore: The day one at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium belonged to the bowlers where they made full use of the winter conditions. After opting to bat, Karnataka were straight away on the backfoot when Ashish Nehra trapped opener Robin Uthappa and after that it was Parvinder Awana's show.
Awana returned with impressive figures of 5 for 81 and was ably supported by Sumit Narwal and Rajat Bhatia, who claimed two wickets each. For Karnataka, Stuart Binny top-scored with 61 before they were all out for 192 and Delhi were 44 for 2 at stumps with Shikhar Dhawan (38) and Mithun Manhas (5) at the crease.

In Vadodara, Odisha failed to impress with the bat on day one of their round six match against Baroda. At stumps, Baroda were 34 for 1 with Aditya Waghmode and Abhimanyu Chauhan at the crease.
