Baroda thrash Odisha to bag bonus point

Vadodara: Baroda thrashed Odisha by 10 wickets with a day to spare, as they bagged seven points in their Ranji Trophy match here on Monday.

Baroda could only manage to add 11 runs to their overnight score before being bowled out for 301 in reply to Odisha's first innings total of 181. The home team bundled out Odisha for 123 in the second innings, which gave them a target of just four runs to chase.

Left-arm pacer Ketul Patel was the star performer with the ball for Baroda by claiming four wickets, while Bharghav Bhat chipped in with two wickets.

In Bangalore, Karnataka have bounced back on day three by bowling out Delhi for 258 and then their batsmen piled on the runs to give the visitors a target of 410 to win. At stumps, Delhi were 40 for 3 and trail Karnataka by 370 runs. For Karnataka there was not a single three-figure score, but Robin Uthappa (81), Lokesh Rahul (73) and Stuart Binny (85) contributed with the bat.

In Nagpur, Arish Alam scored a century as Uttar Pradesh declared for 548 for 8 on day three and host Vidarbha were 237 for 6 at stumps. The home team's batsmen got the starts but failed to convert them into big scores. However, veteran Hemang Badani was still unbeaten at the crease at the end of day's play. For Vidarbha, Sandeep Singh returned with figures of 4 for 89, while Gaurav Upadhyaya finished with 3 for 141.

In Pune, riding on Sangram Atitkar (190) and Kedar Jadhav's (109) centuries Maharashtra declared their first innings at 540 for 8. At stumps on day three, Haryana were 75 for 2 with Sunny Singh and Abhimanyu Khod at the crease.
