Pallekele (Sri Lanka): Reema Malhotra replaced Gouhar Sultana in the Indian squad for the ICC Women's World Twenty20 cricket tournament that starts in Galle on Wednesday.
Gouhar is suffering from a viral fever and will be unable to compete in the event.
Malhotra, 31, is a right-hand batter and leg break spinner from Delhi while Gouhar is a slow left arm orthodox spinner.
The squad: Mithali Raj (captain), Harmanpreet Kaur, Sulakshana Naik, Jhulan Goswami, Amita Sharma, Shubhalaxmi Sharma, Archana Das, Ekta Bisht, Reema Malhotra, Niranjana Nagarajan, Mona Meshram, Poonam Raut, Anuja Patil, Rasnara Pawin.
