Former India pacer Aavishkar Salvi has replaced Varun Aaron in the Delhi Daredevils squad for the Champions League T20, a press release by the franchise said on Friday.
22-year-old Aaron will undergo tonsillectomy, ruling him out of the 12-team tournament.
Right-arm medium pacer Salvi, 30, played four ODIs for India in 2003. He has also taken seven wickets in as many IPL games for Delhi.
Delhi will open their Champions League Twenty20 campaign on the opening day of the Group Stage i.e. Saturday 13 October, against Kolkata Knight Riders at Centurion.
