London: Somerset's wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Butler has been awarded an incremental contract for 2011-12 by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

"This award reflects the contribution Jos has made this year in the shorter formats of the game for England and we congratulate him on his achievement," said national selector Geoff Miller.

Butler qualifies for the award after playing nine Twenty20's and one 50-over international in the contract year.
