Abu Dhabi: Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Talha has been ruled out of Test series against England with a back injury.
Manager Naveed Cheema says Talha will return home in "a couple of days" and that doctors have advised the fast bowler to rest for at least 10 to 12 days.
Talha injured a disc in his spine during practice in Dubai last Saturday.
He did not figure in Pakistan's 10-wicket victory in the first Test, but represented PCB XI in the warmup match against England.
Cheema says no replacement for Talha will be called up.
Pakistan takes on England in the second Test at Sheikh Zayed Stadium from Wednesday.
