New Delhi: Medium pacer R Vinay Kumar has replaced Lakshmipathy Balaji in India's Twenty20 squad for the AIRTEL T20 International series against England after the Tamil Nadu pacer suffered a stress injury.
Balaji was ruled out on Thursday after injuring his right big toe, after which the BCCI named Kumar as his replacement for the two Tweenty20 internationals against England.
The 28-year-old Kumar has played eight Twenty20 internationals and chalked up seven wickets. He played his last T20 international in March 2012 against South Africa in Johannesburg.

A stress injury has ruled Balaji out of India\'s two Twenty20 internationals against England on Dec 20 and 22.
India will play two T20s against England after the four-Test series, the first of which will be played in Pune on December 20 and the second in Mumbai on December 22.
