'Waqargems' all the rage on Twitter

New Delhi: Former Pakistan fast bowler Waqar Younis, who tormented the best batsmen of his time with his searing yorkers, is doling out some equally 'stirring' quotes as a commentator. His 'incisive' remarks during his on-air stints often have the audience in splits. The micro-blogging website Twitter is awash with Waqar's side-splitting pearls of wisdom which are tagged as "Waqargems." Here are ten of them.

1. "Definitely a nick there, I heard it in my ear."

2. "He's unlucky that he hasn't tasted a wicket yet."

Waqar Younis\' commentary gems have gained huge popularity on Twitter.

3. Waqar on Kumar Sangakara's run-out in a recent ODI - "Oh, that's plumb. That's absolutely a plumb!"

4. "Test match cricket is all about playing a lot of cricket!"

5. Umar Akmal cover-drives Dilhara Fernando for four - Waqar: "Well he's in a rush now. Look at that. Crispy! That was a serious crisp!!"

6. Waqar on Saeed Ajmal: "He bowled well today but, SOMETIMES he NEVER listens to me."
