Bangalore: South Africa seam bowler Lonwabo Tsotsobe has been cleared to play against Australia in his side's final warm-up game ahead of the World Cup after recovering from a right knee strain.
South Africa said on Monday that Tsotsobe had passed a fitness test ahead of Tuesday's match with the defending world champions.
The Proteas said left-armer Tsotsobe was able to bowl and field without any restrictions after straining his knee in Saturday's eight-wicket win over Zimbabwe in Chennai and has been given "the full go ahead to resume with his World Cup preparations."
South Africa's Lonwabo Tsotsobe has been cleared to play in the warm up game against Australia.
Tsotsobe recently moved up to a career-high 10th in the ODI bowling rankings and will be an important backup bowler to pace duo Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel for South Africa at the tournament.
