New Delhi: The Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) on Wednesday announced the 30 women probables for the World Twenty20 Championships to be held in Sri Lanka in September-October.
The list did not offer any surprises with expected names such as veteran batsman Mithali Raj, pacer Jhulan Goswami and Gouhar Sultana making the cut.
The World T20 will start September 18 with the women's event kicking off first.
Probables: Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur, Sulakshana Naik, Sunitha Anand, Jhulan Goswami, Amita Sharma, Punam Raut, Gouhar Sultana, Reema Malhotra, Veda Krishnamurthy, Ekta Bisht, Archana Das, N Niranjana, Mona Meshram, Shubhalaxmi Sharma, Jaya Sharma, Anuja Patil, Smriti Mandana, M Shalini, S Asha, Nishitha Pharasi, Gayatri Agarwal, Madhuri Mehta, Ritu Dhrub, Rasanara Parvin, Karuna Jain, Nidhi Torvi, Urmila Chatterjee, Annyesha Moitra, Sushma Varma.
