New Delhi: Dashing batsman Yuvraj Singh is all set to return to India’s squad for the ICC World T20 in Sri Lanka in September, CNN-IBN has learnt.

Indian selectors are meeting on Friday to pick squads for two Tests and two T20Is against New Zealand and the T20 tournament. The left-hander is already is in Team India’s 30-member preliminary squad for the tourney in Sri Lanka.

In 2011 the 30-year-old was diagnosed with a non-malignant tumour of the lungs but further tests revealed cancer.

Yuvraj got the warning signs during the 50-overs World Cup last year in the subcontinent. He faced health issues all through the tournament but kept on playing. He won the Man-of-the-Match award as India went all the way.

He underwent chemotherapy in the US early this year and is now said to have recovered.
