Commentary (Zimbabwe 1st Innings)

Faf du Plessis is named the Man of the Match. We had a great time covering this game but do not forget to join us back for the all-important final, which will see the heavyweights, Australia clash with South Africa at this very venue at 0730 GMT, 1300 IST on September 6. Till then, goodbye and take care!

Zimbabwe needed their top order to fire big time today, in fact, more than just big time but they were behind the eight ball right from the word go. Brendan Taylor's knock went in vain and after almost one hour into the innings, the match was always going to be boring, given that the result was already known to all of us.

Zimbabwe are knocked out of the tournament and it's SOUTH AFRICA WHO WILL FACE AUSTRALIA FOR THE BIG FINAL. Zimbabwe had a big task in their hands, having conceded 271 runs in the first innings and they had to chase down this huge total inside 25.3 overs. Faf du Plessis continued his form and scored a scintillating century in tough conditions. Duminy played a handy knock as well.
