Mumbai: There will be relief for the parents of the little girl whose kidnapping from Mumbai's CST station in June was caught on CCTV. The Mumbai Police is expected to bring back the three-year-old from Haridwar on Monday.
The kidnapper was arrested on Friday after the CCTV video was repeatedly broadcast by news channels. The child is safe and will be reunited with her family soon.
A CCTV footage from the station showed a man walking inside the station premises and taking away the girl, Sangita, while her parents continued to sleep. The footage showed the man first looking around to make sure no one caught him in the act.
A search was launched in Haridwar after the Mumbai Police informed the Haridwar Police that the girl had been seen in the city.
