Mumbai: The Haridwar Police on Saturday claimed to have found the girl who was kidnapped from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Station in Mumbai on June 10. A CCTV footage from the station showed a man walking inside the station premises and taking away the girl, Sangita, while her parents continued to sleep. The footage showed the man first looking around to make sure no one caught him in the act.
The Haridwar Police further claimed to have arrested one person in connection with the case.
The city SP, KL Shah said the girl was found at the Haridwar Roadways bus station.
A search was launched in the city after the Mumbai Police informed the Haridwar Police that the girl had been seen in the city.
