Bangalore: The Karnataka High Court will on Monday hear a PIL filed on the exhibition of nude paintings in Chitrakala Parishath art gallery in Bangalore. The petitioner has said that there is no screening committee to screen paintings of artists before they are showcased at art galleries.

The PIL has also sought proper guidelines to the police to investigate sensitive matters like these.

Last week, the institution was made to remove the paintings of Hindu gods and goddesses due to the threat of protests from public and request by the police.
