New Delhi: Australian wrestler Hassene Fkiri has been disqualified for making a rude gesture to judges during his Commonwealth Games final against Anil Kumar of India and stripped of a silver medal.
The Australian Associated Press reported that Fkiri lost his temper in Tuesday's 96-kilogram Greco-Roman division decider at the Indira Gandhi Complex in New Delhi.
A frustrated Fkiri reportedly tried to slap Kumar before gesturing to international wrestling officials with his finger.

Kakoma Hugues Bella-Lufu of South Africa, who beat Eric Fuenekes of Canada in the third-place match, was awarded the silver medal. Fuenekes was awarded the bronze.
