New Delhi: In a special interview with CNN's Sara Sinder, Dalai Lama cleared the air about an alleged Chinese cyber spy network hacking into his computer. A Canadian research group says the network hacked into classified documents of the Tibetan government-in-exile but China denies it.
Analysts in China are dismissing claims that the Chinese government is behind the spying.
Dalai Lama: Personally I think they should spy more (laughs) than they know what we are doing what we are thinking. You see they too much suspicion to us and a lot of distorted information.
Sara Sinder: Do you think the Chinese Government is behind this spying?
Dalai Lama: That I don't know. The concerned people should investigate. In spite being a big nation they act like a very weak nation, with all sort of spying this is a hypocritical way I think that is very unfortunate. This I feel.
Sara Sinder: You were not given a visa to go into South Africa after being invited to a conference what do you make of that?
Dalai Lama: Today's world reality. Sometimes money and power is more important than ethics or principals. Just that clear okay. I don't want to create any inconvenience for anybody including South Africa.
