Johannesburg: Fast bowler Dale Steyn and allrounder Jacques Kallis have recovered from minor injuries to be available for selection for South Africa's first one-day international against India at the Wanderers on Thursday.
Cricket South Africa says Steyn is fit again after a side strain and Kallis' sprained finger has also healed. CSA says the pair rejoined the squad on Tuesday ahead of the first of three ODI games against India, the top-ranked team and world champion in the 50-over format.
South Africa coach Russell Domingo says the three games against India are "a big gauge for us ... we need to see where we are going."
