New Delhi: Award-winning director Danny Boyle is all set to make good use of his prize money. According to reports, the Slumdog Millionaire director is all set to start a trust for the street children who worked in his film.

The British filmmaker revealed that he was shocked when he heard about the tough lives of the children.

Local children, who were in the film which Boyle shot at various locations in Mumbai, will have access to the fund once they finish their schooling.

He has also promised to give them a trust fund when they complete their exams, in order to encourage them to continue their studies.

The children too formed a deep bond with Boyle through the production of Slumdog Millionaire and even sent the director birthday cards.
