Mumbai: Neil Nitin Mukesh is baring it all for his film Jail. The the actor apparently is ready to go to any length to make his character look realistic. And the man behind this is his director Madhur Bhandarkar.
Madhur Bhandarkar like in all his films is dealing into some naked truths, this time about life in a jail and the condition of prisoners. And to give that touch of reality he has gone ahead and made his actor Neil Nitin Mukesh do a complete nude scene.
"When an accused is brought to the jail, he is taken through an inquiry and that is what the scene is about," said Madhur.
The filmmaker also said it didn't take any convincing to make Neil agree to do the scene. "It wasn't tough to convince Neil, he is one of the young talented actors we have. He understands cinema," he said.
Present at the launch of a home video line of world movies, when we asked how would he tackle the censor boards decision this time the director still seemed optimistic even though his film Fashion was passed with an 'A' certificate because of its wardrobe malfunction scene.
"The censor board has always been very moderate and nice with me. I was disappointed when Fashion was given the 'A' certificate but right now I only want to make Jail and see what are the parameters when I submit it to the censor," he said.
