Gurpreet's tarmac burning attempt to do the longest wheelie on Noida's expressway caught the attention of the police. Since no permission had been sought he was arrested on late Sunday evening, also his bike was impounded.
SSP Noida A S Ganesh said, "Legally speaking the expressway is meant for people to commute on and not for stunts, and since no permission was sought we've arrested him."
After spending a few hours in the Police lock-up, Gurpreet managed to get bail on a surety of Rs 10,000.
The tattooed, soda-sipping biker was all apologies as he said, "I apologise to the Uttar Pradesh police."
When Gurpreet Singh gets his hands back on his bike, he'll attempt the record again but with proper permission.
It's a lesson learnt the hard way for this biker.
