His latest endorsement campaign is for Spykar's new kidsline called Oyo. And he tells us how he picks and chooses his endorsements.
"I select the brand looking at myself. I tell myself this is the brand I am launching and ask myself if should I launch it or not? If my brain says 'yes', then then I go ahead," says he.
Darsheel's already featured in advertisements for Horlicks and Kesari Tours is advertising a special trip to Switzerland with the youngster as it's main attraction.
So what's it about the 12-year-old boy that has advertisers wooing him?
Ad guru, Alyque Padamsee says, "Everyone falls in love with young kids and if they have a personality, so much the better. Aamir Khan gave Darsheel a break, and when you are associated with fame then some of that fame tends to rub against your shoulders."
Darsheel's diary seems to be choc-a-block with assignments. He walked the ramp for Neeta Lulla at the Lakme Fashion Week this year. He also launched an ASUS' Eee lightweight laptop for teenagers and Vimanika Comics in mumbai.
So when we ask how he manages that with his regular studies, pat comes the answer: "If an event is at three o clock in the afternoon, then it will get over by five o clock, which is when I have my tuition classes. I study that time and then when my father comes home, it's time for fun."
Now that's great timing!
