New Delhi: Los Angeles Galaxy and Milan midfielder and marquee player David Beckham has allegedly been accused of strangling Dallas player Daniel Hernandez, when the two sides met on the weekend.

According to TMW and Repubblica.it, Beckham allegedly put his hands around the neck of Hernandez, in an altercation that happened between both teams.

The incident could cost the superstar some game time for the Galaxy, as well as in his hip-pocket, as a fine could be given to him by the US Football Federation.

Beckham became involved in the incident, as he was defending teammate Landon Donovan from Hernandez.

Ironically, it was Donovan who accused the England international of not playing for the guernsey at the start of the US football season, as Beckham was wanting another loan move to Milan in January.

Stay tuned to Goal.com for more info on this saga as it evolves over the next few days.
