Bangalore: Model-turned-actress Deepika Padukone is one happy girl. Apart from her debut film Aishwarya hitting the screens on Friday, Padukone boasts of having not one, but two Shah Rukh Khans as her co-stars for starters.
In Aishwarya, the lady stars opposite the Shah Rukh of south — Kannada superstar Upendra.
"I was telling Upendra, he is the Shahrukh of the south. I have got both the Khans, the one here and the real Shah Rukh," Padukone gushed.
If she made her film debut with south's Shah Rukh, Padukone makes her Bollywood debut with the real King Khan.
"Well, I am looking at Bollywood. I have just signed a new project with Farah Khan. I will be starring opposite Shah Rukh Khan," Padukone said.
Meanwhile, the much-publicised Aishwarya, presents Upendra with a makeover — streaked hair, French beard and the works.
The actor plays the role of a guy who hates girls and Padukone fits the role of the hotshot corporate glam doll in the film.
"It's a very contemporary film. One can make out the film is about love from the promos itself. It is set against the backdrop of an ad agency. It is two hours of fun, which every youngster can watch with his mother. I can assure that," director, Inderjit Lankesh said.
A fun love story, superb music and a great lead pair, sounds like a perfect recipe for success.
