New Delhi: JK Dutt, former Director General of the National Security Guards (NSG) who led the operation during 26/11 attacks, said that the due process of the law has been followed in the execution of terrorist Ajmal Kasab.
“There was no doubt about what was coming to Kasab. What is important is that the due process of law has been followed. In an incident of the magnitude that we had in Mumbai it was important that we had as much knowledge and information as possible. It is in the interest of investigation that the delay might have happened,” he said.
Ajmal Kasab was hanged at 7.30 am at Pune's Yerwada jail on Wednesday morning.
