New Delhi: A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour, who was arrested hours later after the minor's family lodged a complaint, police said in New Delhi on Monday.
The victim was alone at her house in Delhi's Narela area late on Sunday when her 20-year-old neighbour, identified as Deepak, allegedly committed the crime and fled.
The victim's family filed a First Information Report (FIR) a few hours later and medical tests confirmed rape, following which the accused was arrested, police said.
