New Delhi: In the national capital, two-year-old Falak, who was found battered and abandoned, continues to be critical and has been put on the ventilator again by the doctors at AIIMS. As doctors perform surgery after surgery on the two-year-old, there are still no concrete leads to who the child's biological parents are.

The 2-year-old was on ventilator from Sunday night due to lung infection. With a CT scan showing fluids in her brain, the doctors went for a quick surgery.

Doctors, who operated on her for the second time on Monday, said that her condition has deteriorated after some fluids entered her brain.

With the confirmation of post surgery infections, one of the biggest fears of the doctors has come true. They have now sent the brain fluids for test and are hoping that there is no infection there. But a confirmation on that is possible only by Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the search for Falak's biological parents is on. The Delhi Police is closing in on Rajkumar and has discovered another key link.

Apart from Rajkumar the police are now focusing on getting hold of Munni who according to Lakshmi is Falak's mother. But police are hesitant to believe this because there might just be a link beyond Munni as well. Clearly the police still needs to fill many gaps before cracking this case.

A number of NGOs have come forward to adopt both Falak and the 15-year-old teenager who had brought her to AIIMS.
