New Delhi: Vikas Dixit, a Delhi lad emerged as a new sensation of cricket as he scalped 10 wickets in an innings in a Delhi District Cricket Association match at Bharat Nagar ground on Thursday.
Vikas, who is an off-spinner, bowled brilliantly against DTC for his side KG Colts. He finished with a figure of 10 for 26 and most importantly none of the opposition batsmen could read his line. His amazing effort gave his side a thumping 222-run victory over DTC.
The proud coach Sanjay Bharadwaj sees enough material in Vikas to get into the national side in future. Bharadwaj also coached Gautam Gambhir in his early days. Vikas, who held himself from any big celebration credited his coach for all his success.
