New Delhi: A 22-year-old girl was allegedly attacked by an electrician at her residence in Lajpat Nagar in New Delhi on Tuesday. The accused has been arrested.
According to the police, the victim was alone at home when she was attacked by an electrician. He inflicted injuries on her head and allegedly attempted rape.
A case of attempt to murder and attempt to rape has been registered in Lajpat Nagar on the basis of the statement of the victim, who has been admitted to AIIMS.
