New Delhi: Three judges from the Saket court in Delhi were allegedly attacked by two men on a motorcycle following an accident. In fact, the motorcyclists threw bricks on the car when they were asked to drive safely. Both have now been arrested.
It's one of the most shocking cases of road rage on Delhi's roads. Additional CP Ajay Choudhary said, "It's a clear case of road rage because the judges didn't do anything to provoke them.
Metropolitan Magistrate Ajay Garg, who was sitting on the front seat, suffered head injuries and was admitted in AIIMS. The other occupants including the driver were discharged with minor wounds. In a show of solidarity, the lawyers have now threatened to go on strike
This is the second such incident in the past one week. In a separate case on Monday, an additional chief metropolitan magistrate was assaulted by an SUV driver, once again highlighting uncontrolled rage on Delhi's roads.
