New Delhi: Police have arrested three people in the abduction-cum-murder of two minor siblings, whose bodies were found near a railway track in Pragati Maidan in central Delhi on Saturday. Those arrested include a distant relative of the victims, and he is also the main accused in the case.
The duo went missing three days ago and their father had received ransom calls demanding Rs 40 lakh. The family had claimed that though they had informed the police, they weren't responsive enough.
Meanwhile, the school principal of the two children said that the 'kidnapper' was known to the siblings. "School dispersed as usual on that day. There was nothing suspicious. The two kids looked fine when they left with that man. They even referred to him as their uncle," he added.
