New Delhi: A 40-year-old Delhi Police head constable was shot at and injured while chasing and arresting a criminal in New Delhi on Wednesday night, police said.
Shyam Lal, deputed with the crime branch, was shot around 9.30 pm in west Delhi's Janakpuri area. He received a bullet injury in hand, police said.
He was part of a police team chasing notorious criminal Arvind alias Pushkar, who was involved in eight cases including murder, police said.
