New Delhi: A rickshaw puller was arrested in New Delhi for sexually assaulting a two-year-old girl, police said on Friday.
"Suresh Kumar, a rickshaw puller, was arrested on Thursday night for sexually assaulting the girl at Najafgarh area in south Delhi. The accused resides in the neighbourhood of the victim," police said.
The girl was playing outside her house when she was lured by the accused.
Kumar, 30, took her to an isolated place and sexually assaulted her, police said.
The victim is being treated in a hospital. She is out of danger, police added.
