New Delhi: An aspiring chartered accountant and a taxi driver committed suicide in New Delhi by hanging themselves in separate incidents, police said on Sunday.
Upma Singh, 21, a chartered accountancy student, hanged herself from a ceiling fan at her rented house in Laxmi Nagar in east Delhi on Sunday morning, police said.
"Her body was discovered by her woman roommate around 11.30 am," a police officer said.

Harsh Rawat, 40, a taxi driver, committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan at his house in Swaroop Nagar area in north Delhi.
Rawat's body was found hanging by his wife Saturday evening. He was depressed due to financial losses, police said.
"A suicide note has been found in which he talked about financial loss," said an officer.
