Delhi: Thick fog leads to flight delays, train services hit

New Delhi: North India woke up to a thick fog on Friday morning, disrupting road, air and rail traffic across north India. The current visibility is just above 50 meters, making it difficult for traffic on the airport runway.

Over 60 domestic flights 14 international flights have been delayed. Two arrivals have also been cancelled.

Railway officials also confirm that 12 trains have been delayed and 10 cancelled.

Traffic on the streets was moving slow too. The Met Department has said that the situation will improve after 10.00 am, but the fog will clear only within 24 hours.
