New Delhi: Two men allegedly sedated and raped a Class 12 student on New Year's Eve in the Safdarjung Enclave area of Delhi, the police said. The two have been arrested and sent to judicial custody, they added. The two accused are employees of an IT company, they said.
According to the complaint filed by the victim, she was taken by the accused to their flat where she was given a drink laced with sedatives. The two men allegedly raped her after she fell unconscious.
On the basis of the medical report and the girl's statement, the police has charged the two accused under Section 376/34 (rape with common intention).
