New Delhi: A 30-year-old woman travelling in a rickshaw died after she was shot at by an unidentified motorcycle-borne man in Sector - 16, Rohini in northwest Delhi on Tuesday.

The woman had three bullet wounds and was hospitalised after the mishap on Tuesday morning.

Eyewitnesses say the assailant had a heated argument with her before he shot her.

Initial probe suggests that the assailant was known to the victim who was walking back home after dropping her child to school.

This is the third shooting incident in the national capital in three weeks.

Police claim personal enmity could be the reason for the crime. No arrests have been made yet.
