And all through this, it was Dharmendra who insisted to be in control even as Bobby got emotional about sharing screen space with papa Deol.
“When I was working with him he could see in my eyes that I was very nervous and I had the look ‘Dad, I hope I don’t let you down.’ And the look he had was ‘Don’t worry, just relax’,” said Bobby.
So is he his father's son or mamma's boy? “Nobody wants to be a mother’s boy,” said Bobby.
Meanwhile, Sunny Deol was busy promoting an innerwear brand. So can this shy guy openly talk about his underclothes?
“Initially I was a little…now I have started speaking a little better…maybe,” he said.
And though Hema Malini is not part of this family project, that didn't stop her from promoting the film.
“My immediate reaction after seeing the film was ‘Wow’, that’s the way he has to come,” said Hema.
And on her husband having Preity Zinta as a co-star in Roman Holiday, Hema seemed least perturbed.
“I am over being jealous. We have crossed that stage of feeling jealous,” she said.
As for Preity, she came clean about her relations with the Deol men at the premiere of the film Apne.
“I am Dharmji’s biggest fan, Bobby is of course my friend and I really look up to Sunny,” said Preity.
And Shilpa Shetty just tried to keep her dignity intact and claimed to be happy just by being a part of Apne.
“I’m very excited about it and also excited to be in the same frame with them,” said Shilpa.

This film is not about the father of the nation, but Gandhi, the father to his son.
As for zeroing in on Akshaye Khanna for the role of Gandhi's son, Kapoor didn't mince any words.
“If it has Hrithik Roshan, people would expect him to dance and fight. But I wanted someone who could slip into the character and Akshaye has that ability,” said Kapoor.
Now does that mean that Akshaye doesn't have any star power? Your guess is as good as ours.
