Click to play videoNew Delhi: The promos of Deshdrohi have caught many eyes these days. The film's writer, producer and leading man is - Kamaal Rashid Khan - referred to as KRK in the promos . The film claims to deal with a very recent, relevant issue that's been in the news lately.
"My movie showcases injustice against North Indians in Maharashtra. It is somewhat the story of Rahul Raj, a graduate who was killed,” says writer-producer-actor KRK.
But the Maharashtra Nav-nirman Sena (MNS) and the Shiv Sena are not amused. Along with the Crime Branch, both parties have demanded a screening of the film before it opens at cinemas. The filmmaker, however, is in two minds over how to respond.
"They've asked for a screening, but I'm deciding whether or not to screen the movie for them,” adds KRK.
That apart, it's fair to say enough people are curious to know who is this KRK after all.
"I am one of the biggest garment exporters in the country. More than 2000 people work for me. This is my first film as hero, it's always been my dream,” states KRK.
