New Delhi: The core crew of '3', actors Dhanush, Shruthi Haasan, director Aishwarya and music director Anirudh might have worn a smile on their faces while launching a single track from their movie on Thursday at Express Avenue Mall, but deep down, their hearts must have skipped a beat at the event.
All four celebrities were under pressure after scores of fans of actor Dhanush, who went gaga over their hero's arrival, almost pounced on him after managing to break through the security cordon. But the man that he was, Dhanush steered his way through the crowd, all the while ensuring the safety of his crew members.
Security personnel had a tough time keeping the crowd at bay.
"We didn't expect such a response,"said Aishwarya amidst flashes of light caused by fans clicking pictures using their mobile phones.
Dhanush said he knew that the song would appeal to everyone and added that was the reason why they chose to release it.
