Mumbai: Captain of the Chennai Super Kings MS Dhoni is all set to sing a rap number in Hindi for his Indian Premier League (IPL) team. Dhoni will sing the song for a music album the Reliance ADAG's BIG Music is bringing out as part of its association with IPL.

The album will be in Tamil, but there will also be a Hindi version, of which the Dhoni-rendered number will be the highlight.

The album will comprise the official IPL theme song and a victory anthem for the Chennai Super Kings.

The Super Kings album has five tracks, composed by Mani Sharma (theme track), GV Prakash (AR Rahman's nephew) and Bharatwaj. The songs have been sung by Naveen, Ranjit, Rahul and Chitra.

Giving details of the album, CEO of BIG Music and Home Entertainment Kulmeet Makkar said on Tuesday evening that it would have some peppy number to celebrate the spirit of the Chennai Super Kings and enthuse the spectators to back the team.

"The songs have been composed in peppy rap fashion to motivate the team to take on the opponents. The album will be extensively promoted on radio, television and internet," Makkar said.

The album in Tamil will have lyrics also in English.

The most rhythmic number of the Tamil album, Adi Adi Nethi Adi, penned by Vairamuthu, urges the Chennai Super Kings to fight like warriors and set the field ablaze.

"We have an entire promotional package and we will record a Hindi song in Dhoni's voice to take the charm and charisma of the Super Kings beyond Chennai", added Makkar.

BIG Music will also market CDs, music videos, mobile downloads in the form of ring tones and caller tunes of the album, besides interactive games.

The inlay of the music album will have details of a special 'Magic Ball Contest', player profile and a contest form. The 'Magic Ball Contest' gives the cricket fans an opportunity to meet the cricketing stars.

"Details like names, dates of birth, major teams and country played for, batting and bowling styles of all the 24 players of the squad of the Chennai Super Kings will make the CD a collector's item," BIG Music CEO informed.
