Dhule riots: Policemen caught on video vandalising property suspended

Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has acted against the policemen caught on video vandalising private property during the recent riots in Dhule. Home minister RR Patil has said that the policemen identified in the video have been suspended.

The incident raised questions over the police's handling of the riots that left six people dead.

In the video, a few policemen could be seen looting shops and damaging vehicles parked on roadsides.
