Dressed elegantly in a black and silver sari, Ash made her style statement complete with some dazzling diamonds around her neck. "A diamond is associated with a very special gesture from a man to his lady. No matter who gifts you a diamond, all that it defines is love," said Ash.
So when did her love affair with the diamonds begin? "The first one was a birthday gift from my parents. I was a kid at that time and the very thought of having a diamond thrilled me," she added.
The actress has been a brand endorser for Nakshtara for quite some time now. And with diamond studded ornaments adorning her slender wrist, ears and neck one might wonder, when do we see a gorgeous diamond ring adorning a particular finger on her hand?
"When it does adorn it, you will be the first one to notice. And I’m sure it (the news) will be pasted all over," said Ash in her usual tongue-in-cheek fashion.
