The former Madhya Pradesh chief minister had said that he had taken prior permission from the Congress before attending the event.
He reiterated that all his utterances at that function were against the RSS.
He added that there was no ground to prove that there was ideological similarity between the two parties by virtue of simply attending an RSS event.
