New Delhi: Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh has demanded strong action against VHP leader Praveen Togadia for his alleged hate speech. Togadia reportedly delivered the speech on Februray 1 near Adilabad.

Digvijaya said he wants similar punishment for Togadia as was meted to Owaisi. MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi is currently undergoing interrogation for his hate speech. "Togadia should be dealt in a similar manner like Owaisi. I request the Home Minister and the state CM to take strict action against him, " said Digvijaya.

A complaint has been filed against Togadia, however, police are yet to register any case against the VHP leader. Togadia allegedly had delivered the hate speech as a response to Owaisi's statement where he had threatened a particular religious group.
