Dileep to play Sathya Sai Baba in his upcoming film

After the likes of Mammootty and Mohanlal who invited much critical acclaim by being in the role of real life characters like BR Ambedkar and MGR, it is now the turn of Dileep. Yes the actor has been invited by famous Telugu director Kodi Ramakrishna to don the role of Sathya Sai Baba in the new movie based upon the life and teachings of Baba.

The actor was convinced about the looks and only agreed to the role after seeing some computer images of himself which portrayed him as baba. Incidentally, this is the first other language outing for Dileep who had been concentrating on his Mollywood career for the past 15 years. Jayapradha and Sharathbabu will play the parents of Baba in this movie, which will be made in Telugu and Tamil. Plans are also on to create a dubbed copy for the fans in Malayalam.

It is now reported that Dileep will be paid a record amount for his portrayal of the role. The movie will be on floors in a few months.

Actor Dileep will now be seen as Sathya Sai Baba in the new movie based upon the life and teachings of Baba.
