Mumbai: On Sunday afternoon an exhibition showcasing a collection of Christian art Called Sanctum-Sanctorum attracted art lovers from all over Mumbai. Actress Dimple Kapadia was present at the event and caught up with some Christian Art to fulfill her senses.
"Christian Art has always fascinated me, I'm completely drawn towards it. It's the main reason I’m here today," said Dimple.
The actress revealed that her interest in Christian art dates back to her schoolgirl days.
The actress said during the colourful experience “I think it all stems down to being to an convent school and ever since its deep rooted in me."
A unique fusion of the painter's fantasies and traditional Christian art, every painting is special.
Dimple explained, "There is an entire story behind each one of the paintings, I've heard most of them and that is what makes it more endearing."
Confessing her awe for art, it's interesting how Dimple's fans are eager to see her create some set of her own on screen, after her long self-imposed hiatus from Bollywood.
