Though Malayalam Cinema had seen many a classics with sea as backdrop, the biggest director brand of Mollywood, Sathyan Anthikkad had never tried a film in that milieu. But now after thirty years in the industry, the senior director will base his new film on the people living on the seashores. Scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam, this yet to be titled flick will tell a theme about the relationship between a young girl and an old man.
Namitha Pramod and Nedumudi Venu will play the lead roles while Nivin Poly, Mukesh and other regular members of Sathyan flicks like K P A C Lalitha, Mamukoya, and Chembil Ashokan will be seen in other important roles.
Produced by Anto Joseph, the project will have Venu as the cinematographer and Ilayaraja as the music director. Let's wait and see whether this Sathyan initiative will turn another classic in the making.
