Director Chimbu to tie wedding knot on June 1

Director Chimbu Deven, who has carved a niche for himself in Kollywood with films such as 'Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi' and 'Arai Enn 305il Kadavul', will tie the knot on June 1, at a traditional ceremony in Madurai.

The name of his fiance is Kalyani, who is an MBA graduate. The marriage arranged by elders in both the families will take place at a popular marriage hall in Madurai, in which the who is who of Kollywood are expected to take part.

After a small break post the marriage, Chimbu Deven will start his next project. He will be working on a sequel to blockbuster 'Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi' and the sequel will mark Vadivelu's comeback in Tamil cinema.

He is also touted to work on 'Maareesan', the film will have Dhanush in the lead role. A hunt is on for the heroine and rest of the cast, it is learnt. Like his earlier ventures, 'Maareesan' too is expected to be a laugh riot. Chimbu Deven's last film was 'Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam', a cowboy tale, starring Raghavendra Lawrence, Lakshmi Rai, Padmapriya and Sandhya in lead roles.
